About Us

Daniel D’Costa, Esq.

Daniel is the managing partner of D’Costa Law, P.C., a nationally recognized law firm representing investors to recover their investment losses. Daniel also serves as counsel to medical providers and injured persons in matters relating to collection of no-fault benefits, workers’ compensation, and personal injury. Daniel has extensive arbitration experience before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the National Futures Association (NFA), and the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

Experience and Education

Daniel has a law degree from Brooklyn Law School where he graduated with honors. He was an associate in the Derivatives and Structured Products Group at Shearman & Sterling, an AM 100 ranked Law Firm, where he worked hand-in-hand with Hedge Funds and other Asset managers in handling their trading documentation and compliance protocols. He was also in-house counsel for a major international investment bank at BNP Paribas where he helped their legal and compliance departments.

Daniel has also participated in all aspects of litigation from pre-trial to appellate practice for the New York City Transit Authority, New York Division of Human Rights, and New York State Supreme Court Commercial Division in a variety of areas including: Securities, Financial Regulation, Corporate, Real Estate, Personal Injury, No Fault, and Civil Rights.

Daniel is a New York State Licensed Attorney and a member of the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Practicing Law Institute.
